From the syllabus:

Assignment 3: Read-aloud Lesson Observation and/or Booktalk Lesson Observation (All Students). After viewing lesson videos, 4-credit students will choose one video in each category to review. 2-credit students will choose just one category or the other.

Your initial Discussion Forum post is due September 26, 2019 at 9:00 p.m. CT; thoughtful responses to classmates are due by September 29, 2019 at 9:00 p.m. CT.

Assignment 3A: Read-Aloud Observations

Sample Observation

Initial Response: After watching the read-aloud videos, compose and submit a response in the Moodle Discussion Forum to one of the lessons.

Respond to the questions based on one of the read-aloud videos (up to 2 points for each question response).

Assignment 3B: Booktalk Observations

Sample Observation

Initial Response: Post your initial response in the Moodle Forum by September 26, 2019 (up to 14 points).

Respond to the questions based on one of the read-aloud videos (up to 2 points for each question response).

Responses to Classmates’ Observations: Respond thoughtfully to at least two classmates’ postings (up to 3 points for each of two responses).

Total Possible Points: 20 Points
